I had the absolute pleasure of photographing an amazing wedding here recently. Wasing park is an entirely self contained estate with a wonderful small local church, a tithe barn, wonderful grounds and accommodation that will really impress. In fact so much so that the bridal suite recently was recently featured in a list of the top 10 bridal suites in the world!

With wonderfully lit and beautifully diffused light, photography at Wasing Park is a pure delight. The bridal suite has old oak beams throughout the room, a stunning bathroom and plenty of supporting rooms to relax and chill out in.

The distance from the bridal suite to the picture postcard church/chapel is 300 metres at most either directly across the grass or following a lovely gravel path through a set of old wooden gates.

The church is a  beautiful old stone building. Steeped in history. A thoroughly decent vicar, who actively encourages photography!

We took some wonderful group photographs outside after the ceremony by the barn, which in itself is a beautiful 18th century restored building. The finishing touches are very high quality.

As a photographer I am always looking for places to shoot those special moments, in Wasing, these are everywhere. From a glorious summerhouse….

To trees set amongst the ground…..

Inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches, the room is light and airy and very well lit, photographs are a delight.

The outside space at Wasing works very well also, with a glorious garden allowing guests to spill out of either the castle barn or the garden room.

Perfect for the bride and groom to grab a little quiet time and for me to pick up a few portraits of the happy couple alone and spending some time together.  Wasing Park works on all levels and I can comfortably say it is one of my favourite wedding venues that I have photographed at.
