Jewellery Photography by a professional Cardiffphotographer

Weddings are always about the detail, from the flower arrangements, the colour of the ushers ties to the wedding table plan and the bridal jewellery.

I am a Cardiff based photographer, who also photographs wedding accessories for local and faraway bridal suppliers. In fact I even photograph dragons! (Well OK, they are hand made and stitched children’s dragon day sacks, but who is to know)

My new landscape photography website

After far too long tweaking, coding, writing and editing, I am finally happy to launch my new landscape photography website at

Landscape Photography in the Brecon Beacons

Please head on over and take a look at the site, I have included a selection of the photographs made over a few years within most of the parks of Wales in the Brecon Beacons, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and Snowdonia. I have also travelled a little bit further afield, so you may even see some from across the bridge in Cornwall 😉

Wedding Photography details – It’s all about the detail

This image was made at a recent London wedding. I have lots more photographs to come but thought I’d share this one to highlight how important it is to also focus on photographing the finer and small details.

Golden Light on the Heritage Coastline

Landscape Photography with Neil Mansfield

Porthcawl is undertaking a major overhaul at the moment, so the gorgeous lighthouse that takes a terrific bashing for each high tide/high wind weather event is now covered in Scaffolding. But if you search out the rocky foreground below the breakwater, you can still make an image or two.

Brecon Beacons Sunrise

I haven’t added a landscape post for a while, as I am currently building a new website which will host all of my landscape images, it’s still a little way off being released but will certainly be this year.

Launching at the same time will be a series of workshops, please watch this space for information. There will also be a weekly competition, where you will be able to win lots of lovely prizes including, prints, cards, calendars and camera equipment.

In the mean-time, please enjoy a one off image I made a few weeks ago sat on top of the Brecon Beacons, Pen Y Fan, for sunrise watching a cloud inversion spread out over most of the Brecon Beacons and mid-wales, a privilege.

4.45AM wake up calls do have some rather wonderful benefits.
