The Queens Jubilee Beacon, Pen Y Fan, Brecon Beacons

A rather hasty and very last minute decision to head up into the Brecon Beacons and capture the Pen Y Fan Beacon for the Jubilee celebration. No time to ascend to Corn Du which would have given a great view, so concentrated on a classic silhouette instead. It’s not perfect by a long stretch, but it captures a moment, more documentary photography than a classic landscape.

Please review my landscape photographs here.

Very glad I made the trip and I’ll add a few more photographs over the coming day.

Portrait

I use portable lighting that I can bring to your home or we can plan an outdoor shoot. There are many fantastic local locations that I have used for clients; bluebells in the Wenault, Cornfields in the Vale, meadows in the Brecon Beacons, sand-dunes at Merthyr Mawr or the gorgeous coastline along the Heritage Coast. It's great to get outside and have fun shooting family photographs that will make you and your family smile for years to come.
