De Courceys Wedding Photography
De Courceys in a popular wedding venue on the outside edges of Cardiff, it’s a venue set up specifically to cater for weddings and they do it very, very well.
It’s situated in landscaped gardens with a flowing uphill driveway and has been with the current owners since around 2010. The venue has a collection of rooms available from a large dining and dance room to the huge ceremony room and it can cater for up to 200 guests.
What is is like to photograph at De Courceys? Wonderful! From intimate locations inside the manor to more open areas to photograph outside, you really can’t go too wrong.
Wedding photography at De Courceys put simply is superb, the location gives the photographer the opportunity to create those moments that you will want to see for years.
Photographing simple portraits outside in the grounds of De Courceys offers a variety of options, I’ve photographed in daylight on the walls but also at night utilising the floodlights that light the building at night.
The atrium inside offers a wonderfully well lit alternative to being outside. I use the area frequently for portraits, especially if the weather isn’t perfect.
The classic swing shot outside, not everybody’s cup of tea, but I love playing about with couples on the swing and looking for a slightly different take. (see below)
The happy couple and confetti shot moments after the ceremony.
Inside and onto the dancefloor, plenty of space and fun to be had.
I’ve worked with De Courceys staff now on a number of occasions and never get any other than complete dedication when needed.
It so important for the photographer to work with the venue and Lewis and his team manage De Courceys so very well it makes my job even more pleasurable.
Look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks, Neil
